This unique tour gives the visitor a glimpse into three special and unique places on the Big Island. • Begin the day with a short tour through Hilo, the capitol of the Big Island • Visit the famous Rainbow falls, including short hike to The Boiling Pots • See the largest Banyan tree on the island • Head to Kalapana and visit the breath-taking Kehena Black Sand Beach ((It is recommended that participants wear good shoes for a hike that descends several hundred feet from the parking area to the beach, which is moderately difficult. Participants with mobility differences may not be able to access this beach). • Volcano National Park Visitor Center • Short walk and view of crater and steam vents • View of crater, optional lunch, and gift shopping at the Volcano house • Walk through the rainforest and the famous Thurston Lava Tube • Scenic drove down a part of the Chain of Craters Road Enjoy this private tour in a comfortable air-conditioned van with your expert private tour guide.
